means for staff and how you might be involved in shaping a healthier campus.

Staff Assembly Recognition Awards & Staff Scholarship

Please be reminded that all awards and nominations are due Friday, May 4,
2012.  Staff Assembly is accepting nominations and applications for the
following awards:

Faculty/Staff Partnership Award - In recognition of the value of
collaboration and collegiality, staff members are encouraged to nominate
faculty members who actively develop and encourage faculty/staff

Staff Scholarships - Staff members may apply for scholarships in support of
their career enhancement and professional growth. Each award covers the cost
of education and training up to $500. Online application:

Chancellor's Excellence in Service Awards - Two awards will be presented to
staff members who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to UCLA's
mission through contributions that have made a significant impact on the
University. We encourage nominations from campus organizations, as well as
the Health System, since an award recipient will be chosen from each area.
The individuals selected for this prestigious honor will each receive a
