Don't miss an exciting opportunity to talk to the Staff Advisors to the
UC Regents at Staff Assembly's upcoming Learn at Lunch.  The Staff
Advisors are selected from staff and non-Senate academic employees, and
are appointed by the President in consultation with the Chairman of the
Board. Serving as non-voting advisors to designated Regents' committees,
the Staff Advisors have direct input into the Board's deliberations and
decisions. Staff Advisors serve staggered two-year terms, to ensure
continuity. The 2008-2009 Advisor and Designate are Bill Johansen and
Edward Abeyta, respectively. They will be visiting UCLA on April 27th.
During the noon hour they will host a discussion about staff issues and
initiatives. Please join them and ask questions about staff issues and
to voice your staff-related concerns. 

Space is limited. If the session fills, you are encouraged to put your
name on the waitlist if necessary so you can be contacted if additional
space becomes available.
