A message from UCLA Recreation:

FitSports, through UCLA Recreation's FitWell program, announces Women's
Pick-up Basketball for UCLA faculty and Staff beginning Monday July 21st
- Monday, Aug. 25th.  

FitSports provides free drop-in basketball for UCLA faculty and staff
women in the SAC gym from 6 - 7:15 on Monday nights except for 1 week it
will be on Wednesday night - this is only good through Labor Day, as the
courts will go down for floor maintenance.  Recreation will be looking
at opportunities to continue the program in Fall Quarter.  There is
co-ed and men's pick-up through FitSports on Mondays and Wednesday from
11:50 - 1 PM also in the SAC if you know others who might be interested.


The dates reserved for Women's Pick-up are as follows from 6 - 7:15 PM
in the Student Activity Center (SAC)

R     July 21st - Monday

R     July 28th - Monday

R     Aug. 4th - Monday

R     Aug. 13th - Wednesday

R     Aug. 25th - Monday

Recreation will be generating a roster so please forward your name and
the names of other faculty/staff who plan on playing during that period
of time to Wendy Motch, Associate Director of UCLA Recreation at 
wmotch at recreation.ucla.edu.  Please note, players do not have to commit
to all dates.  The more women who can participate, the better Recreation
can promote and extend the program to run year-round.
