A message from the UCLA College Library regarding the Revolutionary Ball
in Powell Library.  UCLA staff and their family and friends are invited
to attend.

Historical Ballroom Dance in the Rotunda

Fifth Annual Revolutionary Ball

Saturday, July 19 
8 p.m. to midnight

Powell Library, 2nd floor rotunda

Learn the minuet and other eighteenth century social dances from the
time of the French and American Revolutions, including George
Washington's favorite dance, the Sir Roger de Coverly, better known as
the Virginia Reel. The dance is open to all, and no dance experience or
partner is necessary. Attire can be costume, formal, or semi-formal.
Space is limited, and RSVPs are required by Thursday, July 17. Please
