Staff Assembly is pleased to announce this year's 
Scholarships and Awards Program.  Applications, 
nomination forms, and descriptions including eligibility 
and criteria are available on our website (click on 
"Awards") at: http://uclasa.chr.ucla.edu

Deadline is TUESDAY, APRIL 13, 2004.  Direct all 
inquiries to Gloria Jurisic (jurisic at jsei.ucla.edu).

The Excellence in Service Award will be presented at a 
special, invitation-only reception on May 26, 2004.

All Scholarships and the Faculty/Staff Parnership Awards 
will be presented at the Staff Assembly Awards ceremony 
on TUESDAY, JUNE 8, 2004, 3:00pm, in the Royce Hall West 
Lobby.


EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE AWARD
Staff members may be nominated for this $5,000 award to 
recognize excellence.  The award will be presented to one
UCLA staff member who demonstrates a commitment to the 
mission of the University through contributions and 
achievements which consistently exceed the established 
requirements of the individual's appointed job.

FACULTY/STAFF PARTNERSHIP AWARDS
Faculty members may be nominated for these awards that 
recognize the value of collaboration and collegiality.

STAFF SCHOLARSHIPS
Staff may apply for scholarships to pay for additional 
education and training up to $350.  Ten scholarships will
be granted.
