SCA would like to invite you to a concert and opera this week.

*Blitz The Ambassador*- Wed, Feb 17, Noon @ Bruin Plaza
Blitz the Ambassador is a hip-hop artist from Ghana by way of NYC who blends
funk, soul, high life, and hip-hop music. Backed by a full live band, his
dynamic lyricism and powerful command of the mic make him one of the biggest
forces in new hip-hop.

*The First Lady Opera*- Feb 19, 21, 26, 27, March 3 at 7:30pm, March 7 at
2:30pm @ UCLA Semel Institute
A new opera depicting two weeks in the life of Eleanor Roosevelt (in this
125th anniversary of her birth), from the death of FDR to VE Day, “The First
Lady” is a story of betrayal, growth, and resilience. The world premiere of
this two-act opera shows how both Eleanor and FDR's mistress achieve
personal growth while they -- and the rest of the nation, still at war --
suffer the loss of the beloved President.
