Navy Chaplain Selection Policy Upheld

The U.S. District Court for DC yesterday upheld the Navy's chaplain selection policy over objections that non-liturgical Protestants were under-represented. In an interesting decision, it applied the more lenient Goldman v. Weinberger analysis to the chaplains' free exercise claim. More details on Religion Clause blog at
