CA Ct App Overturns Church Property Decision

Possibly because St. James was the lead parish in the case. One of
our vestrymen (board of directors) argued the case before the Court
of Appeal.
The church is considering asking the California Supreme Court for
review.

The 3 parishes are under Evans Kisseka, Bishop of Luweero, Province
of Uganda.

I, and many if not most of my fellow members of St. James consider
The Episcopal Church to have strayed from the Anglican expression of
Christianity in particular and Christianity in general. There are a
number of bishops who have made statements implying that they do not
agree with Article XVIII of the 39 articles. "Obtaining salvation
only by the Name of Christ."

As a side note. By the end of 2007, the Episcopal Church may look
much different than it does today. Some entire diocese may split off.
