A religion professor of mine at Amherst College was an expert on the
religion of the Uruba tribesmen of West Africa. His name was Professor
Pemberton, and I don't know if he is still there. But he wrote quite a bit.

Does anybody know a scholar who studies West African religious practices or
beliefs? Or any publications?
