An email of possible relevance

Of course I too have received many equally absurd emails (appropriately described by Ed Brayton).  But this one was for me hard to ignore because it came from a good friend seeking accuracy (rather than usual skepticism).

I know he'll particularly appreciate getting Eugene's Snopes link, also Ed Darrell's FDR Library links (and I'll repeat his note about the applause).

So all responses are appreciated.
