At the request of some people at an ACLU affiliate for which I do some
work, I've moved some information I've been compiling on my Comcast
homepage to its own website at:

ACLU Fights for Christians

If your email system does not read links, the web address is:

http://www.aclufightsforchristians.com

The new website has a more detailed introduction to the list explaining
the criteria for inclusion ("In every example, the ACLU is defending
the right of a Christian to speak as a Christian or to practice
Christianity") and defining who is "Christian" for the purposes of the
list ("for purposes of this list, the word 'Christian' means a person
who self-identifies as 'Christian'")

This list is similar to one available on the ACLU website at:

http://www.aclu.org/religion/tencomm/16254res20050302.html

My website is different in that:

1) My list deals just with cases of ACLU support of Christians
2) My list provides a link to more info for every case cited

I appreciate any suggestions for additions to the list

I hope this announcement is of general interest to list members,

Allen Asch
