and good news for the First Amendment!

The Supreme Court today reversed and remanded the decision of the Second
Circuit that had affirmed summary judgment for the Central Milford School
District on the claims made by the Fourniers and the Good News Club.
Decision is, for these purposes, six to three, Thomas writing for himself,
the Chief Justice, O'Connor, Scalia, Kennedy, and for Breyer in part.
Scalia concurs.  Breyer concurs with three provisos.  Stevens dissented.
Souter, joined by Ginsburg, dissented.
