Michael Farris of Home School Legal Defense could
spend years telling stories about social workers
interfering outrageously with the right of parents to
home school their children. And these problems almost
always start with an anonymous complaint (someone sees
school-aged children at home on a school day--maybe
playing in the yard during a brief recess
period--calls the authorities and then the nightmare
begins.)
