My wife once taught at a school which, for pedagogical reasons, allowed all
students to speak at graduation. I don't know what that would do to my
concerns about captive audience vis a vis the Establishment Clause, but  it
sounds suspiciousely like imprisonment for those who had to sit through
graduation.
