A question for Jim Henderson regarding the Judge Moore issue: I take it that
it is your view that Judge Ira Glasser (after he is nominated, confirmed and
appointed) will have a constitutional right to display a large print of
Robert
Serrano's "Piss Christ" by itself on the front wall of his courtroom,
regardless of the offense it may give some individuals who are required by
law
to be in his courtroom. Am I mistaken? Is that where you want to take us?
Does Judge Moore understand that? >>
Art, would you be concerned if Judge Glasser could decorate the spaces used by
him in his public employment as he wished to do but Judge Moore was told, in
the same circuit courthouse, that he could not do likewise?
I am not arguing here for laissez faire. I am arguing here for fair. Across
the board, no holds barred, let them all speak or shut them all up fair.
Clear enough?
Jim Henderson
