In a message dated 98-01-01 10:28:08 EST, you write:

<< >How is the compulsory ingestion of castor oil by Jehovah's Witnesses
 >comparable to viewing, even involuntarily, a religious display or hearing a
 >religious message or prayer?

Because when it comes to official capacity action (or inaction or
dereliction of commonlaw duty to protect as in the case cited), there is no
such thing as a de mimimus injury when it comes to an establishment clause
 violation.

If this is the totality of the justification, then I certainly appreciate the
candor with which it is offered.
