        I think you may have caught us on a bad day.  But it is also true
that such an extraordinary range of views are represented on this list that
it is not always easy to know whether something is tongue in cheek or a
serious view that seems extreme from distant points on the spectrum.  Maybe
smiley faces have a use after all.
