I thought that Ballard claimed to have shook hands with Christ
in St. Louis? Am I wrong? Did he claim to be Christ and shake
hands with him in St. Louis? Did he claim to become Christ
when he shook hands with him in Saint Louis? I'm lost.

A good point, and one I thought of mentioning in passing,
but then concluded (perhaps wrongly) that few Christians
would see the "I
Ams" as Christians. Yes, they do use Jesus in their
iconography, but
(and all I know is from the opinion, so maybe I'm missing
something) they claim that Ballard was Saint Germain, Jesus,
George Washington, and Godfre Ray King . . . . Not like any
Christians I know, and not even like any Christian heresies
I've ever heard of (though of course
I haven't heard of that many, and I know there are lots). I
mean,
George Washington -- not exactly canonical. So my sense is
that if there's any prejudice (conscious or subconscious) in
favor of
Christians at work in the Court, it would not work in favor of
the "I
Ams," and might actually work against them.
