From list custodian: If you find yourself unsubscribed

If you find yourself unsubscribed, this is *NOT*

    1) Because I disapprove of you.

    2) Because I disapprove of your most recent post.

    3) Because the computer gremlins disapprove of you.

Well, it may be a variant of #3. If there are problems with
delivering e-mail to your address, I -- as list custodian -- end up
getting at least one error message (possibly more) PER MESSAGE POSTED
TO THE LIST. This means I often get 50 or so such error messages per
day (if, say, five addresses aren't responding, and there are ten
posts to the list).

To keep from drowning in these, I may unsubscribe you from the
list. I try to avoid doing that if the error seems transient, but at
a certain point I have to bite the bullet and cut you off.

If you thus find yourself not getting any messages from the list,
please just resubscribe to it; send the message

    SUBSCRIBE RELIGIONLAW yourfirstname yourlastname

to LISTSERV at LISTSERV.UCLA.EDU

If you need to, you can write to me at VOLOKH at LAW.UCLA.EDU, but
it's easier for everyone if you can just resubscribe directly.
