Re the "witches" thread, does anyone know how historically accurate
"The Crucible" is?  The essential offense seems to have been having
communicated with -- kept company with -- the devil, which was
understood to pose a threat to the entire religious community, in
terms of their lives, health, and souls.

In any event, it's a great movie.  Out of regional pride, I'd hate to
give it the nod above "Fargo," though.  Yah, sure, yabetcha.
