Regarding Professor Gibbens's requirement for papers.

There are a number of cities with names such that you would expect they may
have problems with seals.
Corpus Christi (Body of Christ), Santa Cruz (though Santa Cruz may be
sufficiently to the left that the seal was made politically correct long
ago), Los Angeles (The City of Our Lady the Queen of the Angels) and many
others. The City of Los Angeles seal is very busy and if there is anything
politically incorrect on it, it would be hard for the casual observer to
notice.
