Pointless exchanges of "not me, you," and "no, not me, you" will add nothing
here.  Your point is, I take it, that you meant no offense in describing a
comment I made as "not sufficiently complex."  Your kind acknowledgment of
that is appreciated.

Beyond that I would only hope that you might consider whether a descriptor
such as "not sufficiently complex" is, itself, polemical.
