I yield to Charles Haynes' superior knowledge of what is going on in public education today. I just hope he is right! But my point was not so much to engage in public school bashing, but to ask for a little realism (and a comparative perspective) with regard to critiques of non-public alternatives. -- Michael McConnell (U of Utah)
