Boerne-Flores settlement

The Boerne City Council voted unanimously last night to settle the dispute
that resulted in the Supreme Court's decision in Boerne v. Flores.  80% of
the church will be preserved; the City will close a street that runs through
church property; and the church will be permitted to build an addition that
accommodates 850 additional seats.  Both sides appear to be happy with the
resulting compromise.  The details have been left to the architects.
