[PSR-News] 2010 Sewell Stipend Applications due 7/23/10

Hello Network Members,

The Sewell Fund aims to increase librarians' effectiveness at providing reliable and relevant information to health care professionals in the fields of public health and pharmacy. To achieve this purpose, the Fund awards reimbursement funds to librarians and other information professionals to defray association membership/registration/travel and per diem expenses of attending and/or participating in activities of the American Public Health Association (APHA).  Application forms and eligibility requirements are available on the MLA Public Health/Health Administration Section web site at http://phha.mlanet.org/call.html . Applications are due Friday, July 23, 2010.

The theme for the 138th Annual American Public Health Association Meeting and Exposition in Denver, CO, November 6-10, 2010, is social justice, a public health imperative. Consider attending APHA this year to discover more about the social determinants of health!
