[PSR-News] Looking for volunteers for San Diego exhibit May 26-27, 2009

Hi, Network members and potential exhibit volunteers!

 

Coming on the heels of the Memorial Day holiday weekend, we are
exhibiting at the American Academy of Physician Assistants Annual
Conference, May 26-27 (Tuesday & Wednesday), 2009, from 9am to 4pm on
both days. The meeting and exhibit will be at the San Diego Convention
Center. Complete details are listed on our training & exhibit calendar,

At the exhibit booth we demonstrate NLM resources such as PubMed,
MedlinePlus, and ClinicalTrials.gov. We also distribute literature
discussing the National Network of Libraries of Medicine. We meet and
talk with individuals from around the country, and sometimes the world.
We always have a lot of fun, and get interesting perspectives on
information seeking behavior!

 

We usually ask for a commitment of four hours, and will reimburse you
for expenses such as parking and transportation. MLA's Academy of Health
Information Professionals awards two (2) points for exhibitor
participation at national or local meetings.
