[PSR-News] Training Opportunities--PubMed Clinics and more, Tempe, AZ & Sacramento, CA in May & June

The National Training Center and Clearinghouse (NTCC) is coming to
Tempe, Arizona to teach the day long PubMed class (May 7) as well as the
Gateway & Clinical Trials class (May 8, half day morning). I will be
joining them Friday afternoon, (May 8) to teach PubMed Clinics of North
America: A problem based approach to PubMed Searching! You can go here

PSR will be teaching PubMed Clinics of North America: A problem based
approach to PubMed Searching in Sacramento, CA on June 16 and 17. The
class time is 10 am to 3 pm with a break for lunch. You can select

Here's some information about the PubMed Clinics of North America: A
problem based approach to PubMed Searching:
The workshop will focus on a problem-based approach in learning to
search the PubMed database. Through case studies, group exercises and
hands-on practice participants will become more efficient PubMed
searchers. The class is geared for intermediate and advanced PubMed
Participants will be able to:
* Search PubMed to locate citations on challenging author, subject
or keyword, and institutional searches;
* Create a search strategy using the strengths of the database;
* Apply MeSH headings to enhance a search;
* Become familiar with available tools to update their skills and
for lifelong learning.
Available for three or four MLA Continuing Education credits.
