IMMEDIATE OPENING


Website Content Analyst
$18.07 per hour

Full or part- time during the summer
Possibility of continuation part- time during academic year


Provide support for content update to the bioscience research core  
facilities website.  Under the general direction of the faculty  
supervisor yet expected to work independently after instruction,  
verify the content, key words, key equipment, location(s) and key  
techniques for each core facility with individual facility directors  
and update the site database with corrected information.  Test  
website links to verify viability and accuracy, conduct internet  
searches to identify other UCLA research facility sites for inclusion  
in the database, collect information on news and events related to  
the research facilities to post to the website.

Skills

Education or experience in biological, biomedical or biochemical  
fields sufficient to understand basic technology and terminology.

Ability to speak and write clearly to accurately request information  
from faculty and researchers, and transfer written information to the  
database in a uniform format.

Ability to use Google or other search engines to browse the world  
wide web.
