THE YEAR BETWEEN.....EXPLORING YOUR OPTIONS AFTER GRADUATION
Learn about some great alternatives to full-time employment and graduate
school. These options all offer either a stipend or pay. It's a chance to
explore new career fields, experience great networking possibilities, and
enhance your resume for future employment or graduate/professional school.
Options are for 2007-2008 but also applies for 2008-2009. Primary
requirement is a BA/BS degree. Open to recent grads. Early deadlines!
Some of the opportunities that will be covered:
JET, California Fellows Program, CORO Fellows Program, New-Voices
Non-Profit Fellowship, Peace Corps, Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship,
American Assistants in France, Teach for America, New York City
Urban Fellows Program, Rotary Scholarship, Teaching programs in Korea and
Spain and more.

U.S Department of State Internship Program.
Learn about internships available abroad in American embassies and
consulates, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in
New York City. Must have junior standing by start of internship, U.S.
citizen and continuing student.
Fall 2007 - deadline March 1, 2007
Winter/Spring 2008 - deadline July 1, 2007
Summer 2008 - deadline November 1, 2007

ANNOUNCING THE 2008-2009 ROTARY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP FOR ONE YEAR OF STUDY
ABROAD.
Up to $23,000 non-degree scholarship to study abroad for one academic year.
Undergraduate students, college graduates, graduate students are eligible.
