[Physci_undergrad] FW: Rose Hills Research Scholarships - deadline Oct. 20

The Rose Hills Undergraduate Research Scholarship is available to juniors
and seniors who are science majors (excluding psychology), with a minimum
3.5 GPA and a permanent address in Southern California (90001 - 92999 zip
codes).  Juniors will receive $1000 each qtr. for winter and spring 2007 and
$3000 for summer 2007, and are eligible to apply for an additional $5000 in
their senior year.   Seniors (already enrolled in 199) will receive $5000
for the 2006-07 academic year.  The deadline for applications is Friday,
October 13, 2006.  Students may either be continuing research or interested
in getting started in research.  The application is attached to this email
