Dear UCLA Students,
We hope this email finds you doing well. We are excited to
announce the Neuroscience Undergraduate Society's first general meeting of
this quarter entitled "The Insider's Guide to Neuroscience." This event is
for students of all ages from all majors, NOT just those interested in the
brain! At the event, we'll be going over pre-med/pre-grad information that
you should keep in mind while completing your work at UCLA. Whether you are
planning out your next four years at UCLA or are finishing up your last few
quarters and applying to professional schools, we have what you need! This
fantastic opportunity, which by the way will have plenty of food and drinks,
is THIS THURSDAY from 4:30-5:30 pm in the MRL First Floor Conference Room
(MRL is across from Gonda, which is on Westwood Blvd.). If you are
interested and want to find out more information, please visit our website
at www.studentgroups.ucla.edu/neurosci Also, don't forget to sign up for
the NUS listserve on our website. If you are interested in joining our
society, please download an application from the above website and bring it
THIS THURSDAY. Remember, although Neuroscience is in the title, you don't
have to be a Neuroscience major/minor to benefit! Otherwise, if you have any
questions or concerns, please email us at nus at ucla.edu Take care and hope
to see you THIS THURSDAY!
Sincerely,
Neuroscience Undergraduate Society (NUS)
P.S. Don't forget to join the Neuroscience Undergraduate Society Facebook
group!!! With more than 200 members, it provides you with yet another way
to contact students like yourself!
