Dear UCLA undergraduate students,
The UCLA Undergraduate Science Journal (USJ), funded by the Howard Hughes
Medical Institute and sponsored by URC-CARE, provides a unique opportunity
for undergraduates to contribute to an actual publication.
*Submit an article for publication
*Become part of the USJ staff
Benefits of involvement:
- An article published in USJ is an actual publication
copyrighted and registered in the Library of Congress.
- Eligibility to receive a Vice Provost Recognition Award
and/or monetary award.
- Learn more about scientific writing and publishing.
- An impressive addition to resumes and applications.
- Special reception with the Vice Provost Judith Smith, the
URC/CARE Director, Dr. Audrey Cramer, Faculty Advisor Dr. Tama Hasson and
the USJ staff at the end of the year.
