Drug Addiction: State of the Science

Richard A. Rawson, PhD., has been the Associate Director at the UCLA
Integrated Substance Abuse Since 1995.  Dr. Rawson oversees a portfolio of
addiction research ranging from brain imaging studies to numerous clinical
trials on pharmacological and psychosocial addiction treatments, to the
study of how new treatments are applied in the treatment system. 

 

He will be speaking from 6-7:30, the last 30 min he'll be explaining
volunteer opportunities, interships, many in "clinical settings". 

 

When: Wednesday Week 8, 5/24/06, 6pm-7:30pm

Where: Franz 1260
