Are you interested in ...

*	Advocating and empowering families, by helping them connect with
essential resources in their community 

*	Learning about the various health and social issues faced by low
socioeconomic status (SES) or immigrant families living in urban Los Angeles


*	Becoming knowledgeable about specific health and social resources,
such as health insurances, regional centers, legal aid services and more 

*	Gaining practical hands on experience, learning about community
medicine that otherwise would not be received in the classroom 

*	Developing interpersonal skills

 You may achieve all this and more through SCOPE.

You must come to ONE of the 2 information sessions in order to be considered
for entry into the program.

Children's Health Center, 2nd Floor 
Time:  5:00-6:00 p.m.
