ISL (International Service Learning) Information Session
on October 20th at 6-7pm in Public Policy 1246.
For those of you unfamiliar with ISL...
ISL is an AMAZING program that presents a unique and exciting opportunity
for pre-health students to experience medical/clinical work first hand in
the challenging context of both "outback" and urban Central America, Mexico,
Caribbean, and Africa. These missions last anywhere from 9 days to 2 weeks,
and the cost is low (offering many sponsorship and aid opportunities to
further lower the cost). ANYONE can do this! It is truly an experience that
will change your perspective, your life!
ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND this session!
Our group of ISL student ambassadors will be leading this session and will
be answering any questions you have about what ISL is, what programs are
offered, specifics about the programs, and their experiences with the
medical teams!
If you are at all interested in participating in an ISL trip this summer or
in the future, please attend this session!
Please RSVP asap to <mailto:wshu at ucla.edu> wshu at ucla.edu if you plan to
attend!
