Dear UCLA Bruin,

You are invited to attend the "2005 Southern California Forum for Diversity
in Graduate Education." The event will take place on Saturday, April 9,
2005.

GREAT NEWS!!! The Forum for Diversity in Graduate Education has just
announced that it will be giving away FREE Online GRE Prep Courses to all
students who complete an evaluation of the forum at the end of the day. The
online prep course is valued at $400!!!! Please do not pass up this great
opportunity. Come by our office and register before you leave for Spring
Break because the deadline to register is Monday, April 4th!

The forum will take place on the University of San Diego campus, and
transportation will be provided via a chartered bus from the UCLA campus.
The day-long forum will include workshops that will provide information
about:

- Selecting the right graduate program
- The graduate application process
- Financial aid opportunities
- Preparing for the GRE
- Employment Prospects

Also, representatives from over 100 colleges and universities will be
available throughout the entire day to answer questions and provide
information on their specific programs.

Best of all this event is completely FREE OF CHARGE. You will need to turn
in a $20 check (made out to "UC Regents") in to room 1202 Campbell Hall
order to reserve your place on the bus. This check will be returned to you
when you arrive at the bus the day of, but will be cashed if you do not show
in order to help pay for transportation costs. If you plan on driving
yourself, you do not need to turn in a deposit. Once you indicate how you
will get there you will be told how to register for the event.

We hope to see a strong UCLA presence at the forum, as we have been in many
years past. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to email (
