Hello to everyone,
Regarding patient with suspected osteomyelitis of the jaw. 
To my surprise in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery they did not do any biopsy from the lesions . They reffered him for a further diagnosis of submandibular nodes. He will have it in Feb. They also informed him that because his symptoms are mild he will just remain under observation ( no antibiotics prescribed) I asked him to have a blood test,  his CRP is 1,2 mg/l, rest of the results are also fine.
Tomorrow he will be seen by a doctor who reffered him for a cbct  examination so I will probably know a bit more.
