We have noticed a very similar artifact but instead of it being lucent
in appearance it looks opaque. So far it appears to not be a plate
issue or at least when the plate is erased the next exposure and scan
does not replicate it. Had it happen on several films exposed on
dexter today, same fmx, same scanner, did not occur with other films on
run after on the same scanner.

Subject: [Oradlist] Digital Radiograph Artefacts
Hello Oradlisters
Can anyone suggest a cause for the artefacts in this set of digital
bitewing radiographs? A colleagues sent them to me so at this point I do
not know whether they are CCD or PSP digital images.
