Any standard ceph unit can be made digital using photostimulable phosphor plates. I am unawate of frameworks to hold solid state sensors for cephalometrics byt DR plates exist in medicine for radiology so it would be a matter of attaching a cephalostat. AGF

Nothing like that is available as far as I know. The ceph units are all
tied to pan units and scan the head , usually from back to front.

Does anyone know if it is still possible to get a digital cephalometric
unit (non-storage phosphor) as a separate piece of equipment, i.e., not as
part of a pan-ceph unit? If so, which companies sell them? Thank you.
