[Oradlist] bilateral neurilemmoma??

Colleagues,

Please review the following case and retain for your collection as desired.

Pt: 30 yr old Causacian female
CC:  Right parotitis and right
        TMJ symptomatology.
The CBCT findings are negative in the right parotid /TMJ/preauricular area.

Note the incidental finding of bilateral enlargement of the IAC.  These appear  as bilateral neurilemmomas.   There are no associated symptoms.  There are also no signs of café-au-lait spots or mucocutaneous nodular growths ruling out possible syndrome etiologies.

Does anyone have an opinion on the possibility of a developmental or anatomic etiology?   I would appreciate any comments on this case.
