[Oradlist] Cervical Burnout and Mach Band effect in IOdigital Radiographs

The phenomenon of the Mach Band effect is due to lateral inhibition in
the retina. However, the perception of this illusion is influenced by
contrast, (and also by the contour of the object as well) and so yes,
it is possible that one imaging system may accentuate/decrease this
