Thank you for sharing that information with us, even if it is on a sad occasion. I had the privilege of hearing A. G. Richards on several occasions, the first being while I was still a dental student at Toronto. He was speaking at either the CDA or ODA annual meeting, and presented at the Faculty of Dentistry.

You are right. He had many tools to show concepts in a way that made them easily understood. He had his bisecting angle/paralleling model with him on that occasion. I can picture is as clearly today as way back then.

I also remember his presentation on dynamic tomography. I think that it was at an AAOMR (then AADR) meeting. Also quite advanced. He was, as you state, an extremely bright individual.

I am sorry to hear of his passing. It seems that slowly we are losing an entire generation that has preceded us, on whose shoulders we stood.
