When I was at the University of Saskatchewan we made one by lining a
large drum with lead, and putting metal cabinet door into the side, and
an old x-ray head through the top.

Subject: [Oradlist] cabinet x-ray systems for imaging extracted teeth

Hi,
To use for endodontics lab exercise (images on extracted teeth) we are
looking for a lead lined box with a built in intra oral x-ray tube. Can
you please share the info on availability of such an imaging device/
companies that could be contacted for a custom made one. In your
institution are these images made in a regular dental operatory with an
intra-oral tube or custom made boxes like the one described above?
Thanks in advance for your advice and help. Please contact me at
skalathingal at mcg.edu

Thanks,
 Sajitha Kalathingal
