I do not know if these "natural" positions are repeatable. Natural
seems like it is habitual and this habitual position can change with
time. I try to use the following parameters:
a. Mid sagittal parallel to film and perpendicular to beam
b. Franfurt anatomic horizontal plane parallel to ground.
This may not be considered "natural" but it is reasonably repeatable.

Subject: [Oradlist] Natural Head Position vs Natural Head Posture
Good Morning and Good afternoon to all:
I have been in the middle of an interesting discussion with our
orthodontics group about the difference between Natural Head Position
vs. Natural Head Posture for lateral skull projections. If you have a
minute today, I would like to know the patient position that you follow
in your institution for lateral skull projections.
I really appreciate your time and a big thank you in advance,
