[Oradlist] Flatbed scanners and silicone

Dear Oradlisters
 
I have two questions:
 
1.	This is a question that comes up from time to time on Oradlist,
but what do people think the bet flatbed scanner with lightbox adapter
is?  We need one to scan both intraoral and extraoral radiographs
(panoramic and cephalometric radiographs)
2.	Does anyone know a silicone based material that can be used as a
'soft tissue equivalent to put around a dry skull.  If you could give me
any references to follow up I would be grateful.
