[Oradlist] issues with the Gendex CCD sensors

I never liked the term "sensor" for just some image receptors. Is there a 
reason for referring to non-PSPs as sensors? I would have thought all image 
receptors are sensors since they "sense" the incoming rays. Then we could 
regard some as direct, some as indirect, some as CCDs, some as BIOSes and 
some as PSPs.
