Hello, if these lines are continuous by looking at successive sheets, and 
parrallel to one edge of the sheet (that doesn't seems the case on the 
scan, but may be due to the scanning process), then the line could be a 
manufacturing streak,generated during coating process of emulsion on the 
base,  that was unfortunately not eliminated (may be not detectable).
If it is the case, then taking a sheet from the pack and looking at it, 
the defect should be easily visible. Also should affect only boxes from 
the same batch number (continuous but localized deffect). If not, cause 
should be different, and real samples should be necessary rather then 
scan.
This is nevertheless not sure, as mostly I would expect such defect to be 
parrallel to the short edge, and not the long one.

Hello everyone,

Can anyone help in explaining the three horizontal parallel white lines
overlying the mandible of the attached panoramic film which was forwarded 
to
me from general dental practice.

Apparently every film is exactly the same. Unfortunately, I have no other
information regarding type of equipment used nor the duration of the
problem.
