Low-dose radiation effects

Axel and Julian, I just read a review of the paper and as I unerstand
it the body takes a risk versus benefit approach to repair. When the
radiation dose is low and only a few dbs occur the risk of problems
occuring with repair outweigh the risk of ignoring the cells. When
radiation dose is high and damage is significant the body is forced into
high-gear repair mode.

OM Radiologist

Dear Julian

This paper was basically saying that the double strand repair delay
could be used as a method to show exposure to low doses. It did not come
out and say that this was related to carcinogenesis. of course, it did
not deny it either. So where do you think that this leaves us?
