Dear IRPA Associate Society Officer,

I am pleased to inform you of news and publications information that
have just been posted on the IRPA Web Site.  First, the ICRP is
developing an area on their Web site with downloadable training
material and information.  Four PowerPoint presentations are now
available for download, together with supplementary information.
Second, the Council on Ionizing Radiation Measurements and Standards
recently held their 2002 annual meeting.  A brief summary of the
meeting, with links to more detail is also available.  These can be

Finally, the IAEA has recently published two new reports:  Radiation
Protection and Radioactive Waste Management in the Operation of
Nuclear Power Plants, and Monitoring and Surveillance of Residues

potential interest to the IRPA family.  More information can be
