FOCUS on research

Dear Laetitia,

         I submitted my abstract last week, requesting at that time
confirmation of its safe receipt. The reason for this request was  some
local 'net' problems in Bergen. When no confirmation was forthcoming. I
assumed the worse and re-submitted my abstract on Monday. As today is the
new deadline, and having still no confirmation, I am compelled to sent it
to you, confident in receiving at the very least a reply.

         I am very grateful to you for your kind attention.
